
INGREDIENTS:
- 1 cup white corn syrup
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1/3 tsp. salt
- 1/3 cup butter or margarine, melted
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 3 eggs, slightly beaten
- 1 cup whole pecans, shelled
- Unbaked pie shell.
DIRECTIONS:
- Combine corn syrup, brown sugar, salt, butter, and vanilla. Mix well with mixer.
- Add slightly beaten eggs and mix well.
- Pour mixture into a 9-inch unbaked pie shell.
- Sprinkle pecans over the top.
- Bake in a preheated oven at 350 degrees for 45 – 60 minutes.
- It is done when a knife inserted in the middle comes out clean.
